This Eloquently Written Book Reveals the Evil

This Eloquently Written Book Reveals the Evil

Truth is a rare commodity in today’s media. It has fallen victim to spin, misrepresentation and outright lies. But I’m happy to report that there is truth-cold, hard truth-on the pages of The Hidden Axis of Evil by my friend and colleague Fred Martinez.

Some of what he writes is not pleasant. Take, for example, the following passage:

“Likewise, liberals replace the Constitution with sex and ethnic power struggles that lead to the breaking of the rule of law. If a president can sexually abuse women and possibly even rape them, then obstruct justice and lie under oath, are we under the rule of law?”

This is one of many points not covered in today’s media. Nor is there any serious discussion of the true sources of much of what is wrong with America, such as:

- “Freud…profoundly changed America from a Christian culture to a therapeutic or self-centered culture.”

-“Homosexuality is one of the causes the networks will cover up and defend at any cost.”

- “It is widely known by the American Catholic Church that the vast majority of sexual abusers are homosexuals. So, why are ‘Church officials’ and the media not explaining that the scandal is not about pedophilia, but about homosexuality?”

These are just a few of the horrors turning our culture and way of life to the dark side-horrors which we deal with on an ongoing basis in the pages of my headline news website, CultureShockTV.com.

Unfortunately, the “Soviet Republics of CBS, ABC and NBC” bring us all the news they feel is fit to broadcast. That the networks are forces against the truth cannot be denied.

After you read The Hidden Axis of Evil you will know the other forces, besides the networks, that for the past hundred years have driven America to a culture gravely unraveling because it is running away from truth.

Fred Martinez is one of those courageous and bold “few good men” who can handle the truth.

When I was asked to write the foreword for his book, frankly I felt like Moses at the Burning Bush. He wondered why God would choose him. In Exodus he said:

“Please Lord I have never been eloquent, neither recently, or in times past, nor since Thou has spoken to Thy servant for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue. And the Lord said, Who has made man’s mouth.… I will be with your mouth and teach you what you are to say.”

I have written to-the-point op-eds for CultureShockTV.com, but writing a foreword for The Hidden Axis of Evil makes me feel Moses-like tremors beneath my feet.

I take this responsibility very seriously, because this is a good work. I believe this eloquently written book reveals the evil that is turning our culture upside down.

The “axis of evil” is being fought not just halfway around the world but also from within. Hidden Axis puts a spotlight on the real horrors lurking among us-who they are, where they are-and encourages us, as Fred Martinez so aptly wrote, to ‘stand firm, like Lincoln, and limit the spread of a great evil.’”

Mr. Martinez has written many columns on the issues troubling this great nation. His thought-provoking work seeks to bring solutions to the problems we face. The very titles of his writing, such as his op-ed “How to End Planned Parenthood’s Anti-Catholic and Anti-Woman Agenda,” express answers for us to think about.

You need only look around you to see that something is terribly wrong with the road we’ve been traveling. Well, if you have been reading this up to now, you are that man or woman who can make a difference in the world.

Hidden Axis shows you how to help end the nightmare of abortion. It also shows you who and what caused the sex abuse scandal in the American Catholic Church as well as ways to end that scandal.

Then there’s Spider-Man. “Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive!” Sir Walter Scott tells us.

Speaking of webs, Spider-Man would never weave a web to deceive. The original artist and co-creator of Spider-Man, Steve Ditko, according to Hidden Axis of Evil, was an artist who “now seems prophetic for saying in the 1987 show that if we glorify the anti-hero in art, then anti-life and violence will come into our culture.”

Life imitating art? Imagine that. It has.

The Hidden Axis of Evil puts this comic book superhero in a light you might not have thought about. Fred’s book rings with truth, wisdom and great insight.

How does Planned Parenthood explain this?

How does Planned Parenthood explain this?

Rate of sexually-transmitted diseases soars among young Californians

A study published last month in the Californian Journal of Health Promotion reports that in 2005 there were 1.1 million new cases of sexually-transmitted infections among young people in California.

The 1.1 million figure is ten times higher than previously believed, and it means that in the 15-24 age group, diseases such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HPV and HIV now infect almost one out of every four young Californians.

Is this because of a lack of sex-ed in the public schools? Apparently not. According to Chris Weinkopf, editorial-page editor of the Los Angeles Daily News, the California Department of Education reports that "96 percent of California school districts provide comprehensive sexual health education" and all California schools have been required to teach HIV/AIDS prevention education since 1992.

Can we blame the abstinence-only programs promoted by the Bush administration?

Not in California. Weinkopf notes that state law prohibits 'abstinence-only' education in the public schools. In addition, California may be the only state in the country that has refused to accept millions of federal dollars for abstinence education.

"This [soaring rate of sexually-transmitted infections] is no surprise," said Linda Klepacki, sexual health analyst for Focus on the Family Action in an online press release. "California has insisted on teaching contraceptive-based sex education in their schools all along. They expect teens to be sexually active. They don’t raise the health standard to abstinence… It's clear California supports sexually active teens, and STI rates will naturally explode with these policies."

Another factor in the out-of-control disease rates among California children and young adults may be the introduction of the “morning-after” pill. According to testimony offered to the FDA in 2004, sexually-transmitted infections soared in the British Isles when “Plan B” (the morning-after pill) was made available without prescription in 2000. Ignoring the warning signals from the UK, California subsequently became one of the first states to permit the sale of Plan B over-the-counter without an age limit. (Compiled testimony of Wendy Wright, Carole Denner, and Jill Stanek, "The Morning-After Pill: An Ill Wind This Way Blows.")

The new study on sexually-transmitted infections among young people in California was completed by the Center for Research on Adolescent Health and Development at the Public Health Institute in Oakland. Study author Dr. Petra Jerman told Medical News Today that the statistics revealed an epidemic of which, like an iceberg, only a small part is visible.

The authors acknowledged that their figures are underestimated because of incomplete screening of sexually active young people, and failure to confirm the effectiveness of treatment through follow-up testing.

Ed Thomas of OneNewsNow.com added another dimension to this distressing picture by reporting that a striking increase in suicide rates among people ages 10 to 24 has been confirmed by recently released statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control .

At the same time, says Thomas, UCLA psychiatrist Dr. Miriam Grossman is convinced that promiscuity is the root cause of much depression. Dr. Grossman argues that the promiscuity-depression-suicide link is being ignored by doctors who fail to caution students against the documented self-destructive dangers rampant in the university’s sexual “hook-up” culture.

Suicide, morality collide on college campuses

Ed Thomas
OneNewsNow.com

October 13, 2007

A substantial increase in suicide rates among people ages 10 to 24 has been confirmed by recently released statistics from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). At the same time, a UCLA psychiatrist says promiscuity -- which she believes is the root cause of much depression -- is being ignored by doctors who choose to treat their patients with anti-depressants instead of psychiatric help.

Dr. Miriam Grossman says the problem with that option is that the CDC's report stated that young people taking depression medication are among the 8 percent jump in suicides -- evidence to Grossman that only symptoms are being addressed, and not causes. "There are approximately 1,100 successful suicides on our campuses every year -- a very, very startlingly high number," she says.

Causes before cures

To get to the root of the problem, Grossman says one has to backtrack to a related topic -- depression -- which she says is at epidemic levels on college campuses, and is usually closely related to suicide.

Furthermore, it is her assertion that there is a reason that is not discussed by the medical community for all the depression symptoms -- ranging from anxiety to insomnia, eating disorders and many other emotional problems. Grossman calls it "the anything goes sexual free-for-all" that exists among students, primarily on college campuses. "Parents need to know that dating is pretty much dead these days. College students hang out in groups, and then they pair off and 'hook up,'" she states.

A new age?

Grossman says a hook-up is defined as an unplanned sexual encounter between two people who do not have definite plans to speak again. "So you can understand that it's [a] no-strings-attached, no-emotions-attached, casual sort of set-up. And this is different than the way it was in past generations, because it's normalized ... and we have between 40 and 80 percent of college students participating in hooking up," she points out.

But with the rampant physical symptoms of depression, and the known biological changes that take place following sexual contact, can there really be no emotional, physical or spiritual after-effects of a morally neutral social lifestyle? Based on contacts with multitudes of students who regularly come to her office for treatment, Grossman definitely believes the answer is no.

Grossman authored the book Unprotected: A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student. "My book is filled with stories of students who have come to me. They've followed the guidelines for 'safer sex,' and done everything the health center has told them to do -- and they still have ended up in my office, casualties of the hook-up culture," she states.

"The REAL apology that is owed by Niederauer is for seeing nothing wrong with [homosexual] adoption! "

From Gary Morella
stlouisix@msn.com

[homosexual]

Does the Archbishop of San Francisco believe that we were all born yesterday in regard to his incredible statement of apology, which is laughable?

The REAL apology that is owed by Niederauer is for not being a good shepherd to his flock by saying nothing to them whatsoever in regard to the abomination that is Most Holy Redeemer Church's blatant public promotion of sodomitic lifestyles. The REAL apology that is owed by Niederauer is for seeing nothing wrong with sodomite adoption!

The REAL apology that is owed by Niederaruer is for not publicly condemning, in the strongest terms possible, the filth of the sodomitic Folsom and Castro street fairs, and the promotion of sodomitic lifestyles at the state, county, and city levels, to particularly include San Francisco, with an attitude that is "to heck with the children in his state in complete ignorance of Matthew 18:6!"

You make think that you are fooling people, Archbishop Niederauer, by your worthless apology. If you do, you are delusional. Long suffering Catholics have caught your act and those of your ilk in California too many times. You have done nothing to rein in Catholic frauds, in particular your Mayor, who is absolutely giddy at the prospect of putting as many of his constituents on the fast track to hell with him as possible in the matter of advocating for oxymoronic sodomite marriage!

The REAL apology that is owed by the Archbishop of San Francisco is for NOT BEING A CATHOLIC!

And finally, the ultimate REAL apology is owed by Rome to Catholics worldwide in giving us wolves in sheeps clothing masquerading as bishops who could not care less about the eternity of the souls entrusted to them! -

"I must apologize"

Statement released Oct. 11 by Archdiocese of San Francisco regarding
archbishop giving communion to two "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence"

Below is Archbishop George H. Niederauer's column for the Oct. 19 issue of
Catholic San Francisco, the archdiocesan newspaper that is mailed to 85,000
households. This statement was provided to California Catholic Daily by
Maurice E. Healy, director of archdiocesan communications.

A recent event that greatly concerns me needs some additional explanation --
and with it an apology.

On Sunday, October 7, 2007, I celebrated Mass at Most Holy Redeemer Parish
here in San Francisco, during my first visit there. The congregation was
devout and the liturgy was celebrated with reverence. I noticed no
demonstration, no protest, no disruption
of the Eucharist.

At Communion time, toward the end of the line, two strangely dressed persons
came to receive Communion. As I recall one of them wore a large flowered hat
or garland. I did not recognize either of them as wearing mock religious
garb.

Afterward it was made clear to me that these two people were members of the
organization "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence," who have long made a
practice of mocking the Catholic Church in general and religious women in
particular. My predecessors,
Cardinal William Levada and Archbishop John Quinn, have both denounced this
group's abuse of sacred things many times in the past. Only last year, I
instructed the Administrator of Most Holy Redeemer Parish to cancel the
group's use of the hall on the parish grounds, once I became aware of it.

In the year and a half since I arrived in San Francisco, there have been
several instances of offensive attacks on Catholic faith and devotional
life. Only two weeks ago Catholic San Francisco carried my remarks
condemning the derisive use of the image of the Last Supper on a poster
printed by another local group.

Although I had often seen photographs of members of the Sisters of Perpetual
Indulgence, I had never encountered them in person until October 7th. I did
not recognize who these people were when they approached me.

After the event, I realized that they were members of this particular
organization and that giving them Holy Communion had been a mistake.

I apologize to the Catholics of the Archdiocese of San Francisco and to
Catholics at large for doing so.

The manner of dress and public comportment of the Sisters of Perpetual
Indulgence is deeply offensive to women religious and to the witness of
holiness and Christian service that women religious have offered to the
Church and to the world for centuries. The citizens of San Francisco have
ample reason to be grateful to women religious for their unfailing support
of those most in need, and to be deeply offended when that service is
belittled so outrageously and offensively.

Someone who dresses in a mock religious habit to attend Mass does so to make
a point. If people dress in a manner clearly intended to mock what we hold
sacred, they place themselves in an objective situation in which it is not
appropriate for them to receive Holy Communion, much less for a minister of
the Church to give the Sacrament to them.

Therefore I conclude that the presence of the Sisters of Perpetual
Indulgence at the Mass on October 7th was intended as a provocative gesture.
In that moment I failed to recognize it as such, and for that, as I have
said, I must apologize.

Tough Jesuit

Father William Stout says Mass every Sunday at Agnew (hospital for the handicap) Chapel. After Mass, he is surrounded him by people of many nationalities. Father chats and blessing with a natural joy in Spanish, Vietnamese and other tongues. If at any time of day or night you need him -he is there with that same joyfulness. He is a traditional Jesuit Priest whose day job was teaching at the toughest school in Eastside San Jose - Overfelt High.

“I wanted to go to the Eastside of San Jose to help the next immigrant people.” Father said, “My family was German and Irish. My brother and I were the first to graduate from college in the family. The Mexicans were the next group of immigrants we ought to help”

The Jesuits had hoped to have a Catholic High school in the Eastside of San Jose. But, in 1984 since no Catholic school was build, Father Stout proposed to the Jesuit provincial that he get hired at Overfelt in math- to help the kids from Mexico with problems in English. Teaching for over 16 years at the school, he knew many good students, but found that many kids saw the gangs as “heroes“.

“The Overfelt riots and bad reputation give a false representation of the kids at the school. If they like you, they like you-if they don’t like you, you are in trouble.” Father said, “I told the gangs I didn’t respect them. They carved their gang letters into my car window. I left it there so everyone could see what they were about. But, so long as kids lack parents with religion or lack parents who are home for them there will be problems.”

According to Stout the problem is students, now, come from broken homes with family problems and drugs. They don’t see direction or see the need to study. The gangs provide for the vacuum the family used to provide. They provide approval, direction, protection and a sense of belonging. These people become their family.

“The only solution is for the family to do their job - some do. They are home for their children and give them religion,“ Father said, “ My mom was paralyzed for 10 years and my dad went out to see her everyday for 10 years. He would talk to her-you could tell she understood by her eyes looking at him. Parents must live their message! A loving couple will do more than any book. They must sacrifice their pride for each other and offer it to God.”

Is Our Lady of Guadalupe a Jewish maiden or a Indian Princess?

Fred,

The gentleman you worked with at AFC indicated that her [Our Lady of Guadalupe image] dress and appearance are more appropriate to the Jewish maiden. Wanted to see if there is further documentation on this. Most scholarly works these days do not take this point and so, agreeably, it is difficult to maintain the position without little support. Unless you take GK's text as maxim and law that the majority has rarely, if ever, been in the right.

Dear Sir,

Have you heard of Dr. Charles Wahlig, the nuclear physicist, who studied the image of OLG as well as the reflection of the images in her eyes of Juan Diego and others. In a 1980's Apostolate for Family Consecration (AFC) video, which I appeared on, Wahlig said that someone had painted OLG a darker complexion such as a Mexican Indian would have over the original image.

According to the physicist on examining the image closely OLG had a lighter complexion like a Jewish woman would have. Wahlig also said in the video that a famous Latino singer ( I believe his name was Jose Cenda) who became a monk went to Palestine in the 1950's and found out that the clothes OLG was wearing were those of a Jewish maiden. You can get the video from Apostolate for Family Consecration. It is called "Immaculate Conception-Patroness of the USA."

I checked the Internet and there is nothing for or against what Wahlig said. If any scholars have any new information on this please send it to me. Most people who write on these subjects just parrot what other have said.

Father Sweeny's Solution to the Crisis of our Time?

Father Sweeny's Solution to the Crisis of our Time?

I found an insightful article on the dangers of the occult called Therapeutic Religion by Carrie Tomko. (Carrie’s article is posted below.) She showed, using an article that I wrote on how secular psychology lead to the sex abuse scandal, that the real battle of our epoch and every epoch is spiritual.

Tomko explains:

“Since Eden nothing has changed. The serpent still whispers; and like Eve, sometimes we listen. The conscience can be silenced so that the only voice we hear is the voice of our own sinfulness. This voice of sinfulness was let loose without brakes when psychology invaded religion.”

Secular psychology which is the new religion of America promotes a mindset that denies our need for a relationship with God. Sometimes Oprah or Dr. Phil gives a nod to God, but the message is always the same:

“ What is needed are not God and His Forgiveness, but for a self to reach the fullness of its self.”

Oprah and Dr. Phil have many good things to say, but if those things put God in second place then they are as St Paul would say “dung.”

What is the solution to the crisis of our time of which the occult and secular psychology are only symptoms? I will share words that I mediate on at least once a week. Here are the words of Sister Lucia dos Santos know better as Lucia of Fatima:

-“The only important thing for us is to do the will of God; to be where He wants us to be, and to do all that He wants of us, but always with humility.”

-“Let times be lacking for everything else, but never for prayer, and you will experience the fact that, after prayer, you can accomplish a lot in a short period of time”

-“We can receive our strength from God alone”

- “I am convinced that the principal cause of evil in the world, and the falling away of so many consecrated souls, is lack of union with God in pray.”

Prayer is the only answer for our age. If you pray humbly, you will be part of the solution.

A great priest whom I was blessed to know died last year. He accomplished many things. He made a monument that may last centuries, he created networks that helped the poor, he helped bring numerous souls to prayer and much more. How did he accomplish so much? What is the most important thing?

In page 21 of my book Hidden Axis, pro-life leader Ginny Hitchcock answered those questions:

“The most important thing is what [the retired pastor of Our Lady of Peace in Santa Clara, California] Fr. [John] Sweeny drilled into me. He said if you don't pray, don't do it at all."

THERAPEUTIC RELIGION

Can the source of the sexual abuse scandal be traced to a shift in our spirituality? One writer, at least, believes it can.

Fred Martinez reports in "Nietzsche and the Church Scandals" at the Catholic Educator's Resource Center website that

Therapeutic approaches have a basic assumption that is not Christian. Their starting point is not the Christian worldview...The denial of original sin and personal sin is, in large part, behind the headlines of the Boston catastrophe and other dioceses. ...

One must remember that whenever someone talks about values in modern America--family values or religious values or place-the-blank-in-front-of values--they are saying there is no real or objective right or wrong--only opinions of the self and its will to power.

That "will to power" is the heart and soul of occultism. There is a reason why so many of the women religious talk about "empowerment" and seek ordination. Once you throw out God, all that is left is you. Answering to no one puts you totally in control. What does a person want when they are totally in control but that their own will be done. The person becomes a sort of mini god in their own mini universe. The occult magician's mindset was coined by Aleister Crowley: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law." It's a short hop from the desire to the deed, and the deed is accomplished, or at least attempted, in magic rituals which intend to procure the will of the magician. The pinnacle magic ritual experience is evocation. The accomplished magician brings a spirit into materialization where the sensory response validates that the will has been accomplished. If a spirit is at your beck and call, you are a success.

This thinking is contrary to the way God made us. It is not unusual for the magician to be driven into insanity through this process. Spirits tend to have a mind of their own and power over the magician, as many have learned a little too late. The spirit the magician intended to own ends up owning him.

As chaos magician Peter J. Carroll puts it:

Works on the level of trance, vision, imagination and dream. It opens the magician's subconscious by negating the psychic censor with various techniques. The magician faces considerable danger on this level and may have frequent recourse to sorcery techniques or banishing ritual if it threatens to obsess or overwhelm him.

In spite of the danger, Catholics are being taught at retreats to attempt a sort of trance state by seeking to silence their mind in meditation. Guided meditation can be found in Catholic courses on spirituality. Can Catholics be sure that the benefits outweigh the risks?

The Martinez article continues, quoting philosopher Allan Bloom's summation of Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy as it appears in Bloom's book THE CLOSING OF THE AMERICAN MIND:

Commitment values the values and makes them valuable. Not love of truth but intellectual honesty characterizes the proper state of mind. Since there is no truth in the values, and what truth there is about life is not lovable, the hallmark of the authentic will is consulting one's oracle while facing up to what one is and what one experiences. Decisions, not deliberations, are the movers of deeds. One cannot know or plan the future. One must will it.

This is the occult mindset--the thinking behind the occultism of Carl Jung and Roberto Assagioli--the thinking that is derived from a source other than the Trinitarian God. Martinez continues:

Unlike the Christian worldview, the therapeutic starting point is that the individual must overcome personal unconscious forces, in Freud, and in Carl Jung the person must unite to the collective unconscious, which is shared by all humans.

In both cases, the therapist assists his client to change himself to 'become his real self.' Forgiveness and returning to God are not needed. What is needed are not God and His Forgiveness, but a therapist assisting a self to reach the fullness of its self.

Freud, under the influence of Nietzsche, moved psychiatry away from the mechanistic and biological to the previously "unscientific" model of the "symbolic language of the unconscious."

Freud's pupil Carl Jung took the symbolic language of the unconscious a step further.

Whether you call it the "collective unconscious" or the "Akashic Record," and even if you seek knowledge by channeling a spirit, ultimately the ability to remake yourself (or renew yourself) is contained within you.

Martinez says that

Christian therapist Leanne Payne considers Jung "not a scientist, but a post-modernist subjectivist. Jung's active imagination therapy is hostile not only to the Judeo-Christian worldview, but to all systems containing objective moral and spiritual value. Within this world the unconscious urge becomes god. What the unconscious urge wants is what is finally right or moral. These psychic personae [complexes] are literally called 'gods' (archtypes); and so an overt idolatry of self follows quickly."

Within the modern French Nietzschean schools of thought, a type of Jungian unconscious urge is replacing the old existential conscious self who chooses. The post-modernist is moving from the idolatry of self to the idolatry of autonomous inner "beings" that, according to Payne, are similar to pagan "gods."

Since Eden nothing has changed. The serpent still whispers; and like Eve, sometimes we listen. The conscience can be silenced so that the only voice we hear is the voice of our own sinfulness. This voice of sinfulness was let loose without brakes when psychology invaded religion. Martinez writes:

By using Christian symbols and terminology, Jungian spirituality has infiltrated to a large extent Christian publishers, seminaries, even convents and monasteries.

There is little doubt that it has infiltrated the parish renewal programs. Martines continues:

Many Christians are using Jung's active imagination as a method of prayer. Psychiatrist Jeffrey Satinover, D.D., thinks this is dangerous "because this fantasy life has no moral underpinnings, because it helps to reinforce an experience of autonomous inner 'beings' accessible via the imagination, and because it is a defense against redemptive suffering, it easily allies with and quickly becomes a Gnostic form of spirituality with powerfully occult overtones.

The concept of self-actualization or "will to power" that has become commonplace in the retreats and renewal programs offered throughout Catholicdom are precisely the opposite in concept from Christ's prayers in Gethsemene: "Lord not my will but thine be done."

We all must choose whether we will be in control or whether we will surrender to the One who made us. This is the nature of free will which our Maker gave us. If we choose to reject Him, there are other powers to seek; and those powers are eager for our business. There is a reason why we are repeatedly warned in Scripture to leave occult powers alone. God knew the temptation to self-will would be hard to resist. His experience with His first creation, the angels, demonstrated it. Today as the Christian worldview fades into memory in many places, we are seeing it demonstrated in our day to day encounters, and we have seen it demonstrated in the Catholic priesthood with devastating results.

"Do not go to mediums or consult fortune-tellers, for you will be defiled by them. I, the Lord, am your God." Lev. 19:31

"Let there not be found among you anyone who immolates his son or daughter in the fire, nor a fortune-teller, soothsayer, charmer, diviner, or caster of spells, nor one who consults ghosts and spirits or seeks oracles from the dead. Anyone who does such things is an abomination to the Lord, and because of such abominations the Lord, your God, is driving these nations out of your way." Deut. 18:10-12

"For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Do not let your prophets who are in your midst and your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to the dreams which they dream. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them.' declares the Lord." Jer. 29:8-9 [Incidentally, this passage has been eliminated from the NAB. I checked three different Bibles and it was not there. I had to turn to a Protestant New American Standard Bible to find it even though it is referenced in the CCC.]

"Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will turn away from the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and demonic instructions through the hypocrisy of liars with branded consciences." 1 Tim. 4:1

"Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can know the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh belongs to God, and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world." 1 John 4:1-3

"I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come from the mouth of the dragon, from the mouth of the beast, and from the mouth of the false prophet. These were demonic spirits who performed signs. They went out to the kings of the whole world to assemble them for the battle on the great day of God the almighty." Rev. 16:13-14

If those passages do not convince, read Ezekiel 13.

We have been warned.

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

How Do We End the Bloody Tuesday Nightmare?

How Do We End the Bloody Tuesday Nightmare?

Operation Rescue rightly called election 2006 Bloody Tuesday. Operation Rescue President Troy Newman said:

“America has voted and the bloody results have placed the most vulnerable among us, the pre-born, in the cross-hair for continued extermination.”

There is only one way to end the Bloody Tuesday Nightmare. It is not by pointing fingers, but by understanding what happened and praying to God to help us do His will.

Dr. Theresa Burke's book on post-abortion therapy, Forbidden Grief: The Unspoken Pain of Abortion, shows us that America has become a nightmare culture caused by trauma.

Burke applies psychology to cure this trauma, but says that the abortion trauma can only be completely healed if one asks for and receives God's mercy. If the grief of abortion is not healed, then the world becomes a Freddy Krueger-like nightmare. Burke maintains that the horror icons of the United States such as Freddy Krueger and the "evil child movies" are symbols of a culture running away from its guilt.

"I think that evil child movies are all around us. The child is the victimizer, the one who torments. Other movies, like Freddy Krueger, illustrate the horror of being tracked down by an 'abortionist' figure who is out to kill her baby," Burke said. "I've watched MTV where baby dolls are thrown off cliffs, discarded, abused and unwanted — revealing the unconscious conflict shared by all who have rejected children or been abused themselves after having been used for sexual pleasure."

E. Michael Jones, editor of Culture Wars, in a review of Forbidden Grief agrees with its thesis that when one represses guilt one creates even greater monsters in the unconscious. He said, "... depression, suicide attempts, compulsive political activism, reveals itself upon closer inspection to be neurotic compensation for the guilt from abortion, which the culture of death instructs women to repress."

"Feminists could hardly suppress their glee when Lorena Bobbitt castrated her husband," Jones said. "What they did suppress was the connection between this bizarre and otherwise inexplicable act and the fact that her husband had forced her to abort their child."

This is only one example of what happens to a culture when millions of men and women have the memory of an aborted baby haunting their unconscious. Forbidden Grief tells us in story after story of "bizarre" behaviors. In one account we find a dorm party in which the students, many post-abortive, played "baby soccer."

The "baby soccer" story reminds one of a Stephen King novel with its broken heads of dolls being kicked around, their eyes gouged out, doll cheeks burned with cigarette butts and a boyfriend burning cigarette holes between the doll's legs as well as ripping off their legs. This account and others convinced Burke that abortion is connected to the horror games that our culture plays.

"The college students I witnessed playing 'baby soccer' were actually trying to master their trauma by belittling it through a game with decapitated baby doll parts," Burke said. "This amusement and mesmerizing allure to engage in the traumatic play is a symptom of our culture's need to overcome the horror — like the baby in the blender jokes, which all surfaced coincidentally after Roe v. Wade passed."

The baby soccer game and other horror genres are symptoms showing that millions of Americans need to overcome the "collective guilt" associated with abortion. Burke says, "As the group's enthusiasm for this game demonstrated, the acting out of post-abortion trauma can be contagious ... collective guilt and trauma have the capacity to disguise massive injustice."

According to Life Dynamic's Mark Crutcher, this massive injustice — in which millions have been killed — can be stopped by ending access to abortion-bound women. His booklet Access states that between 40 percent and 60 percent of American women of childbearing age have had at least one abortion. There is also a similar percentage of males who are post-abortive as well.

The booklet claims that the reason for our increasingly pro-abortion elective government is these percentages of persons who are in internal conflict. After violating the moral commandment of "Thou shall not kill," they vote pro-abortion, seeing the stance of the pro-life politicians as a personal attack on themselves.

"What I'm saying is that since the vast majority of elections are decided by slim margins, anything which influences even a small percentage of voters can be a powerful force," Crutcher said. "The point is that the potential impact is staggering. Moreover, this force grows considerably more powerful every day as another 4,000 abortions are racked up."

His booklet says studies have found that these women do not have abortions unless there is easy and local access to them. The vast majority of these women, according to these studies, will not travel long distances or pay large amounts of money for an abortion.

The way to defeat the abortion nightmare on the political front, according to Crutcher, is to sue doctors. And Steve Mosher, head of the Population Research Institute (PRI), says there are many legitimate reasons to sue. Says Mosher, "The failure to stop an abortion procedure on request, or even depriving women of their right to full information, can be construed as a denial of a woman's freedom of access to reproductive health."

Access says, "... our opponents' ability to continue fighting comes from a high abortion rate. That is what fuels their political machine. As long as they have $64,000 an hour to draw on, and the potential for at least 4,000 new pro-abortion voters every day, the legal status of abortion will not change."

According to Access, very few new doctors want to be abortionists, so malpractice suits make the abortion business even more unattractive. As fewer young doctors enter the field, access to abortions becomes costly and inaccessible.

The abortionists and the pro-abortion media seem to agree. In 1992, abortionist David Gritmes said, "Distance clearly matters in women's reproductive choices ... abortion rates were found to be inversely related to the distance to a provider."

In 1998, the New York Times Magazine said, "... abortion is retreating into a half-lighted ghetto of pseudonyms, suspicion and fear ... today 59% of all abortion doctors are 65 years old ... nearly two-thirds are beyond legal retirement age."

Access presents 81 such quotes from abortionist and pro-abortion publications to show, as it says, "access doesn't just influence abortion politics; it is the determining factor in which side wins and which side loses."

Along these lines, another way to end the abortion government is to reach out to the millions of post-abortion trauma voters with God's mercy, as Dr. Burke is doing. If even a small percentage changes sides, as Crutcher said, these slim margins in elections may start going to pro-life politicians. And it is never too late to start reaching out to persons in post-abortion trauma.

"We had one woman come on our retreat who was 87 years old. She suffered over half a century with this secret that she had never revealed to anyone until she came to Rachel's Vineyard. She was so relieved to be with others and to finally receive God's forgiveness," Burke said. "We can offer the Lord's mercy by not seeking to judge or condemn them, but by inviting them to thoughtfully reflect on their experience — by being the one ear that will listen, or the one heart that cries with them for the loss."

That 87-year-old woman's conversion represents millions of voters who could convert to voting for pro-life Republicans because the Democrats have steadfastly "positioned" themselves as the abortion party. The problem for the Republicans is that those women swing voters must be reached with psychological and religious help such as the 87-year-old experienced.

The way this can be done is for pro-life activists to pressure the Republican leadership and President Bush to attempt to pass legislation that offers psychological assistance to women with abortion trauma. The Democrats and media would go crazy, but if this legislation were positioned as a woman's right to reproductive health, then the Republicans would have the moral high ground.

Even if the legislation didn't pass, the mere publicity would get it into the consciousness of millions of woman in abortion trauma. The pro-life movement and conservative churches could then get into action and start offering those women the help they need.

After this is done, we need to put pressure on Bush to get the Justice Department to prosecute all abortionists who, as PRI president Steve Mosher said, fail "to stop an abortion procedure on request, or even depriving women of their right to full information." PRI's recent pro-life conference introduced new legal campaigns to sue abortionist doctors who fail to provide complete information about the risks of abortion to their patients.

"We're working with these attorneys to inform more and more Americans of their rights," Mosher said. "It's time America does an 'about face' on the abortion industry. Women deserve genuine health and human rights, not violations so routinely committed by the abortion industry."

According to Pennsylvania's Dr. Chris Kahlenborn, 28 out of 37 studies worldwide show that induced abortion increases the risk of breast cancer. Thirteen of 15 studies done in the United States reported an increased risk. (See: abortionbreastcancer.com).

The increased risk of having breast cancer after an abortion is 50 percent if it's your first baby. If you're under 18 it goes to 150 percent. If you're under 18 and your baby is more than nine weeks old, your increased risk is 800 percent!

"As soon as there comes a woman who has breast cancer who has had an abortion and takes it to court, she's got a very strong case," Kahlenborn said. "The problem is a lot of young women when they do get breast cancer die from it so quickly — because it's so aggressive when you're young — they might not make it to court."

As Kahlenborn showed, this is not just about winning elections; it's about doing the right thing. Unfortunately or fortunately, for the Republicans this is also about politics. Any increase in abortions — as Crutcher graphically shows — leads to the demise of the Republican Party.

But the Republicans are running out of time. Their base is the conservative religious voter so they cannot allow the abortionists to have the "$64,000 an hour to draw on, and the potential for at least 4,000 new pro-abortion voters every day." As Crutcher said, this is "the determining factor in which side wins and which side loses."

The party of Lincoln must make a choice. They can become like the Whigs, who kept compromising on the issue of slavery until they were replaced before the Civil War by the Republicans. Or they can stand firm, like Lincoln, and limit the spread of a great evil.

Lincoln never attempted to abolish slavery directly, because he knew that if he limited its spread to only the South, then, like a disease, it would die a natural death. The Democrats — the slavery party — knew this, too. That is why they started the Civil War.

(The South was correct in its claim that it had the constitutional right to secede, and it had the Founding Fathers' idea of federalism to back its states' rights claims. This is what gave the South the moral courage to fight a great war.)

The Democrats — the abortion party — know also that the abortion industry will die a natural death if limited in its ability to exploit women. But they will not start a civil war on this issue, because they are cowards and have no moral high ground.

Can anybody imagine Teddy Kennedy and company having the courage to fight for anything more than six more years of luxury at the taxpayers' expense?

So Bush can go down in history as another Lincoln. (Lincoln was considered dumber by the media of his day than our present media consider President Bush.) All that Bush has to do is not attempt to abolish abortion, but rather limit its spread by protecting women's health and human rights as well as letting women in abortion trauma know that he and others are there offering help to free them from their nightmare of abortion.

Catholic Schools and Homosexuality

Catholic Schools and Homosexuality

On September 6th, 2001, the Wanderer reported Zogby International in a survey of 1,003 high school students found that 80% of Catholic seniors believe homosexuals should have the right to marry while only two-thirds of the total of all demographic high school senior groups in the survey claimed gay marriages should be legal. In recent polls only "about one-third of adults" said gay marriages should be legal.

Dennis Gilbert of Hamilton College, in Clinton, N.Y., who did the survey, said that “large majorities of seniors take pro-gay positions on relevant gay issues. And virtually every definable demographic group took these positions,“ apart from evangelical or “born-again” Christians, said the Wanderer.

Father X, a priest in the San Jose Diocese who must remain anonymous, the diocese document "Pastoral Guidelines for Ministry to Homosexuals in the Diocese of San Jose "contributes to the ethical confusion on homosexuality among Catholic high school students because it has no "moral component." This diocese document claims the "premise that individuals do not choose and cannot change their sexual orientation but must understand it and integrate it into their life of faith and conscience."

"There is a presumption in the diocese that homosexuality has a biological basis. This, in part, originally came from the Kinsey report, which lead to gay safe zones in the public schools and were eventually followed by the Catholic schools." Father X said, "The problem is that a lot of Catholic teachers and theologians feel that they need to filter the churches teachings according to their philosophical agenda or they won't teach it."

James Likoudis, a nationally known writer on Catechetic and Sex Education, the reason Catholic high school students are pro-homosexual is that the church documents are filtered out. He said

"The Vatican documents "The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality" intended to remove corrupting sex education programs in Catholic schools is a dead letter in this country- as can be seen in the continued proliferation of Catholic sex education programs in practically every diocese."

In the Diocese of San Jose, there are some problems with the sex education programs. Frank A. Scanlon, a student at Bellermine Catholic high school said, "There's no gay slant at Bellermine, even though at a retreat, one kid came out that he was gay. But, they taught us about condoms, and if you have sex use them."

" A lot of the kids consider their religion class a joke." Frank D. Scanlon, the father of Frank A., said," They had one priest who didn't want to impose the Catholic faith because of the non-Catholics in the class. He didn’t want to make them feel uptight."

Father X said," A parent came to me, in 1994, saying that one book of a seventh grade class was pornographic in a Santa Clara Catholic school. The book had stuff on how to put on condoms, and if you urinate on a partner make sure you don't do it on the eyes or ears."

Father organized a group of parents who meet with the principal and pastor. The principal and pastor defended the teacher's right to use the book. But, when they went to the diocese superintendent of schools it was found to be against the diocese's policy. The book was taken out despite the teacher's complaints.

Parents in the Oakland Diocese had a different experience with a sex ed program called New Creation. Catholics United for the Faith, a Catholic information apostolate in Steubenville, Ohio, has faulted New Creation for its "graphic illustrations that offend against modesty and chastity;" for "emphasizing information over formation;" and for "violating the latency period."

In 1998, the principal of St. Bede's of the Oakland Diocese told parents that their children either had to attend the New Creation classes or they would have to quit the school. When the SF Faith asked the superintendent of schools for the Oakland Diocese, Anne Manchester if mandatory attendance at these classes contradicted the guidelines in Educational Guidance in Human Love, she responded the site (St. Bede's) could make the decision.

The state of affairs in San Jose public schools is a few steps more developed with homosexuality being considered just another ethnic group or normal human condition. A heterosexual recent graduate of Gunderson high school, Robert Davila said," The school is diverse- they have Hispanic clubs and Gay clubs. They demonstrate how to use condoms so you won't get aids."

The troubles in Catholic schools,as shown above, are only part of the problem since the vast majority of Catholic high school students go to public schools. In public schools parents have no chance of getting offensive sex ed books removed. Since in the fall of 2000, Governor Davis signed legislation that went into effect on January 1,that mandated California public schools expose homosexuality, bisexuality, transvestitism, transexuality, and other lifestyles to all grade levels, including kindergarten.

The only place the Catholic public school students are going to get the sexual moral teachings of the church on a continuous basis is at the pulpit said Father.

Father X remembers former San Jose Diocese Bishop Pierre DuMaine saying, "For the vast majority of Catholics the only religious talk they will hear is the homily and the only literature they are going to read is the bulletin. So, what does that tell you about their importance?"

Before Vatican II, it was the practice in the United States for Bishops to have a syllibi or schedules for the year's parish homilies where the specific moral and faith teachings were to be systematically presented. Father X said that in the Homiletic and Pastoral Review many priests have made a case that the church in America needs to return to the syllibi. Likoudis, on the other hand, believes the problem is in the "silence from the pulpits on Catholic sexual ethics by cowardly priests and bishops- or who are sympathetic to the dissenters.

A decadent media morality has replaced Christian and Catholic morality in our culture. The Sex Educators active in public and parochial schools represent that media morality "

Most Catholics get their morality from the media. Father X said, for example, that the U.S. Bishops statement on stem cell research was good, but he knew practicing Catholics who never heard of it. All they heard was what the media presented. Until the church has an organized effort to educate the mass of Catholics, there is only one way to educate. The orthodox Catholic priest must give homilies on the specific moral issues. Also, they need to do a write up in the bulletin that is mentioned during the homily.

According to Father X, the Catholic clergy from the Vatican to the local parish priest need to be more "users friendly" in writing and speech. Because of the media culture, the high school students find it hard to listen when language is too philosophical or technical. Another problem in the teaching of sexual morality is homosexuals who have got into the priesthood. Likoudis said," There has been a strong homosexual network operating in the Church by those who have infiltrated our seminaries to find refuge there."

"There are some homosexuals in the priesthood, but it's not an official network. It's not in the open, but you can pick it up." Father X said, "They don't contradict the moral teachings of the church instead their method is to question the foundations of the moral teachings-scriptures and tradition. Then they bring in psychology and biology to support their agenda."

Fr. X was asked if he knew of any priest or teacher pedophile cases in the San Jose Diocese. He said, "No, not that I know of." The Diocese of San Jose has a policy that if someone is reported then a committee is set up to review the complaint. The committee makes a judgment, which can lead, to getting the police involved and the ending of pastoral duties."

This diocesan policy is in line with the Catechism of the Catholic Church which in section 2357 states that " "homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered"...under no circumstances can they be approved." In the next section, the Catechism says "they do not choose their homosexual condition", but no where is there the diocesan "philosophical agenda" that presumes an "unchangeable" natural biological or genetic basis for acts it calls "intrinsically disordered."

"The argument over genetics is a curious one. If homosexuality is genetically inherited, then homosexuality must be chosen by some who do not have a genetic trait. Identical twins must be either both heterosexual or both homosexual and we know this is not the case. It has been documented in cases of identical twins where only one was homosexual. "Director of Family Life for the Diocese of Duluth, MN, Dick Frost said, "Biologically two men do not fit together to procreate, nor do two women. Biologically it is impossible."

A New Rosary Evangelization

A New Rosary Evangelization

J has been involved in a threefold ministry of reaching out to help, bringing God into everyday conversation and introducing "persons to the gospel rosary."

His real name is James Wallace, but everyone in the streets and veterans hospital call him J.

Veteran Marcia Nagles, outpatient at Menlo Park Veterans Hospital, says ”J make you feel like part of the family.” She was sitting in a hospital corner in 1990 when he said 'You don’t look like your doing well, do you want to talk?'”

Marcia said, “He shopped, picked things up, walked me home, got me to daily mass and rosary. He made me a better Catholic and I’m a convert."

J says "Marcia and many like her are my family, now.

Nagles connected with me because when she converted to Catholicism in 1964 her family kicked her out. J own family booted him out in 1985 “because of military Post Traumatic Stress Disorder [PTSD] and an antsy personality.”

The lay ministry began with family in 1982 when his grandmother lay dying in Alaska. He said “No other family member was willing to take the dying woman home to Iowa. It was not easy to go because Grandma didn’t like me because of my Hippie appearance.”

She said “I knew you would be the one to come for me. But, after that I saw only the love in her eyes for me. She had always wanted a priest in the family, so I promised her to enter the seminary.”

In 1984, after two years of study at the Mt. St. Claire Seminary and University in Diwitt, Iowa, J was told he wouldn’t make it. He recalls “They told me I wouldn”t make it because I was too much of an adventurer. I would go out racing cars and horseback riding. I was just too antsy.”

They suggested he get involved in a rosary ministry.

“The ministry is waiting for the God given moment when I realize I have to talk to this person. Starting a conversation about anything for about half an hour -then bringing in God. Finally, giving them a rosary with explanation and instructions,” J says,

“But most of all my heart goes out to the women on buses with children and their hopeless looks. When I politely approach they're scared to death, but once I take off the sunglasses they look in my eyes and see hope.”

Many times these women are broke, so J gives them ten dollars to buy pampers along with the rosary. The most rewarding part of his work is the bus ministry. Since 1984 starting in Iowa the bus ministry has followed him wherever he goes.

His bus ministry on the Santa Clara County Transit takes him all over the California Silicon Valley usually stopping at his center of gravity the Menlo Park Veterans Hospital.

He was a Coast Guard sailor from 1977 to 1980 stationed in Morro Bay, California on a 95-Foot Coast Guard Rescue Cutter. From 1980 to 1982 he was at Westport, Washington on the Search and Rescue Station where he retired. His July 1982, DD 214 discharge papers say he was “ permanently retired by reason of physical disability.”

James remembered ”I returned fire with an M-16 at narcotics boats when under attack. But, my most nervous moment in the West Coast waters was when I and a petty officer boarded a drug boat. The petty officer was attacked and mauled by a black Labrador Retriever. I had to kill the dog.”

During his term of duty, he says “34 lives were saved from ship fires and sinkings.” J said ” Three times I was thought to be dead, once with a broken back and hip which forced me to retire. I’m like the trout that’s too small; God keeps throwing me back. That’s why I have the ponytail so He can pull me back.”

In 1982,the broken back and hip ended his Coast Guard career. James recalled ”The transition to civilian life was hard because of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and my antsy personality. There were flashbacks from past rescue and law enforcement episodes. Nor did it help that I refused to take pain medication for the constant back pain.”

In 1985, on Thanksgiving Day J was booted out by his family. J said, “There was the alcohol and my problems, but I just don’t know the answer to why they did it. I asked them. They just said they didn’t want to see me anymore.“ That’s when he started saying the hour and half gospel meditation rosary, praying especially for his family.

He knew he needed help, but had never known where to turn. After, he started the gospel rosary everything fell into place. He found the Bay Area veterans hospitals, which from 1986 to 1994 helped him overcome PTSD and a drinking problem. In his times of despair the rosary helped show him Gods love.

He prays two complete rosaries everyday. In the morning, he focus is on the gospel words of the Our Father and Hail Mary in the manner of the Jesus prayer.

For the second rosary, he uses an old method - the scriptural and gospel meditation rosary book. Sometimes staying as long as five minutes- in meditation-on one bead. He, also, prays for specific persons on the beads.

There are 20 to 30 persons who receive prayer everyday starting with his family. About 20 people are continuously included while he adds and drops others every nine days.

Today, James considers his gospel rosary ministry and prayers a small way of helping in the new evangelization. J said, “Pope John Paul II believed the rosary is one of the most powerful instruments for developing faith. It is the instrument that could spread the faith to all people.“

“J” tries to give specialized rosaries to fit each person so if anyone wants to help him in his ministry sends unique rosaries to:J. Wallace1260 W. Washington Ave #5Sunnyvale, Ca. 94086

McCain says US "established...as a Christian Nation."

I don't trust McCain, but he is at least pro-life unlike pro-abort Giuliani, maybe ex-abort Romney and Planned Parenthood Thompson.

Christian Coalition Blogger Says Senator McCain May Win Presidency with 'America is a Christian Nation' Comments
WASHINGTON, October 2 /Christian Newswire/ -- Christian Coalition of America blogger, Jim Backlin, comments about Senator John McCain's "America is a Christian nation" remarks:

In a Christian Coalition of America blog entry entitled: "McCain's 'America is a Christian Nation' Comments Might Make Him President," Jim Backlin said: "Comments like 'America was founded on Christian principles' by Senator John McCain just might make him president. In an interview last Saturday with a Christian-oriented website called Beliefnet, Senator McCain stated that "I just have to say in all candor that since this nation was founded primarily on Christian principles, personally, I would prefer someone who has a grounding in my faith." The fact that the left-wing Muslim groups vociferously reacted against McCain's remarks, just added validity to his comments, and indeed value for his presidential nomination hopes.

Senator McCain, who at this time last year led in most of the national polls for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, needs something to break out of his current funk, that is, 4th place in most polls behind Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, and Mitt Romney and just above Mike Huckabee. Social conservatives who have been flailing around for a candidate who agrees with them on abortion and homosexual marriage -- even after Fred Thompson's entry into the race last month -- seem not to trust any of the frontrunners, most especially pro-abortion and liberal-on-most-social issues, Rudy Giuliani.

In the Beliefnet interview, Senator McCain went on to say that he agreed with a recent poll saying that a whopping 55% of Americans believe that the United States Constitution established America as a Christian Nation. McCain said: I would probably have to say yes, that the Constitution established the United States of America as a Christian nation." On Sunday, he clarified his statement by saying that the United States of America was founded on the values of Judeo-Christian values. The Muslim groups fired another fusillade of comments following the McCain clarification. Who knows? The McCain Straight Talk Express just might begin appealing to a divided conservative community with courageous comments such as these."

Gay Smear Campaign to Google

http://americansfortruth.com/news/homo-fascism-in-brazil-pro-family-advocate-julio-severo-targeted.html

Brazilian family advocate Julio Severo had his website taken down by Google for three days after a smear campaign by homosexual militants.

The following article is reprinted with permission from Lifesitenews (http://www.lifesite.net/), which has become one of the world’s leading pro-family sources for news. (To sign up for Lifesite e-updates, click HERE.)

Call it homo-fascism, homo-totalitarianism, homo-supremacy or whatever you will, but the “gay” activist movement’s drive to silence opponents is intensifying worldwide. Yet American liberals and homosexual activists alike –with rare exceptions such as lesbian Georgetown University professor Chai Feldblum – play dumb, as if they cannot comprehend how homosexuality-based “rights” (in the guise of sexual orientation “equality”) will erode the freedoms of those who regard homosexual behavior as wrong.

We welcome homosexual (and liberal) activists who are not afraid of freedom and the battle of ideas to denounce the growing pro-”gay” trend of silencing opposing speech — whether it’s GLAAD threatening to sue a news producer to squelch a report on lesbian bullying; Britain trotting out the “anti-homophobia” police to crush that grave threat to democracy of a Christian passing out tracts at a “gay” event; or pro-homosexual militants claiming that decent religious people who agree with God about sexual sin are causing the murders of homosexuals like Matthew Shepard.

Where else but in the Orwellian world of pro-GLBT “multiculturalism” would you see politically correct bureaucrats squelching faith-based dissent in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance”? The time to speak out against the coming tyranny is now. We would do well to read Feldblum’s paper (delivered last year at a Becket Fund for Religious Liberty symposium): at least she acknowledges that the struggle between “gay rights” and religious freedom of conscience is a “zero-sum game.”

P.S. Take a guess which side Feldblum says deserves to win.– Peter LaBarbera

Brazil Attacks Against Family Defenders Backed by Pro-Homosexual Regime of Nation’s President

By Matthew Cullinan Hoffman

BRAZIL, July 30, 2007 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In recent months other Brazilians have been subject to the wrath of Brazil’s pro-homosexual regime.

In June of this year a coalition of protestant church groups, the National Vision for a Christian Conscience (VINACC), was ordered to halt their campaign “In Defense of the Family”, which displayed billboards that said “Homosexuality: God made them man and woman, and saw that it was good!” A court order decreed the removal of the billboards and the cancellation of a public event scheduled by VINACC to further the defense of family values, claiming that it was “homophobic”.

On May 29th of this year, a Lutheran pastor in the Brazilian town of Rancho Queimado; the Rev. Ademir Kreutzfeld, was subject to a criminal investigation when he was accused of calling local businesses in an effort to inform them that a newspaper they were sponsoring was promoting the homosexual agenda. The homosexual activist who owns the paper filed charges against the pastor for “defamation.”

Although no further steps have been taken against the minister as yet, homosexuals are agitating for his prosecution. “What have I done?” asks Kreutzfeld. “I just made some phone calls to shops, alerting that they were, without perceiving, sponsoring a newspaper of homosexual ideology. As a Christian committed to the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, I could not fail to inform them. Of course, I am not ‘homophobic.’ As a Christian, I love sinners. I am also one of them. But I cannot remain silent before sinful practices”.

Julio Severo (see his English-language blog HERE), who is seen as the principal opponent of Brazil’s militant homosexuals, and who has written a book called “The Homosexual Movement” warning against the political goals of the movement in Brazil and worldwide, states that, since he began his efforts against the homosexual movement in Brazil, he has suffered persecution and has been forced to flee his hometown. According to Severo, a homosexual government official used his refusal to involve his children with vaccines against him and had a court order to remove his children from their home (Severo and his family believe that vaccines are dangerous and often ineffective).

Severo states that others in the town also do not vaccinate their children, but he believes they were ignored in favor of him because of his stance against homosexual behavior. He now lives in hiding in another part of Brazil.

The attacks on Julio Severo, Jael Savelli, and others by the homosexual movement in Brazil are taking place within the political context of the strongly pro-homosexual regime of President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula da Silva, who has led Brazil’s executive branch since 2003.

During its second year in office, the Lula regime initiated a program, “Brazil Without Homophobia” which teaches that homosexual orientation is unchangeable, and seeks to construct “a culture of peace and values for promoting human diversity.” According to the program’s charter document, this would include “the production of cultural goods and support for events with massive visibility for affirming sexual orientation and the culture of peace”, “artistic productions that promote a culture of non-discrimination for sexual orientation”, and preserving “the cultural, social, and economic values congruent with the participation of the Brazilian homosexual population in the process of development, based on its history and culture”.

Since the initiation of Brazil Without Homophobia, the government has spent millions of dollars funding “Gay Pride” parades and TV programming, and is promoting pro-homosexual “education” programs in the public schools. Homosexual leader Luiz Mott is one of those who participated in the creation of the document, according to the credits listed at the beginning.

In addition, the Lula administration is promoting a new “anti-homophobia” law that would prohibit any expression contrary to the homosexual agenda, forbidding Brazilians “To practice, induce or incite discrimination or prejudice of race, skin color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity…What is determined in this article involves the practice of any kind of violent, constraining, threatening or humiliating action, of moral, ethical, philosophical or psychological order.”

Although the legislation has stalled in the Brazilian Senate, the issue will be taken up again this fall. The Brazilian legal system has also begun to allow homosexual adoptions (see http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/jul/05071202.html).

“Brazil Without Homophobia” also promises to promote the homosexual agenda at the international level, a commitment that the Lula regime has fulfilled with a rare enthusiasm. In 2003, 2004, and 2005 it introduced resolutions in the United Nations to declare homosexual orientation as a protected “right,” but failed in every case. In 2006, the Lula administration began pushing the resolution within the Organization of American States (OAS), although to date it has not passed in that venue either.
