Obama is the dream guy of homosexuals, but he’s the biggest nightmare for the majority of Americans.
Every Christian should be on high alert for the changes Obama promises to bring. Under his influence, more people will be corrupted sexually, including children; more people will be deceived by false faith, which Obama espouses; and faithful Christians will see their religious liberties greatly diminished. The land of the free? Not under this president.
And we haven’t even mentioned the spectre of death: the demise of thousands, maybe millions more unborn children through Obama’s policies supporting abortion; the end of abstinence education; support for embryonic stem-cell research; and possible plans to withhold health care to the elderly in the name of cost-containment.
Here we will concentrate on the promises made to the “gay” community. They are staggering. It’s truly a whole new world at the White House.
Within days after his inauguration as President, Obama approved changes to the White House web site reflecting the priorities of his administration. The page on “civil rights” describes his plans to support the “LGBT” community — that’s “lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered,” in case you’re wondering.
He promises to pass federal “hate crimes” legislation to add the categories of “sexual orientation” and “gender identity.” With the current Democrat- controlled Congress, it could easily happen. Here’s the bottom line: such an unnecessary law would add penalties to crimes that are already crimes, if the perpetrator is opposed to homosexuality and perceived the victim to be homosexual, bisexual, etc. This is a thought crime law typical of fascist regimes. The crimes in question are punishable by law now, so the only reason to pass such a law is to legitimize homosexuality and make any speech or beliefs that oppose it fall under suspicion.
The so-called “epidemic” of hate crimes involving “sexual orientation” does not exist. In 2007, the FBI reported a total of 1265 total incidents involving sexual orientation bias occurred in the entire U.S.(1) The vast majority involved low-level offenses of assault or intimidation. And a little known fact is that some are perpetrated on homosexuals by other homosexuals. All are, again, already punishable as crimes when reported.
In the few countries that have passed such laws, Christians have been targeted for simply speaking out against homosexuality or even communicating what the Bible says. And sweeping “re-education” programs to make sure citizens, even children, have the correct approving attitudes, are often funded in hate crime bills. This goes under the misnomer of “crime prevention.”
Next, President Obama describes his opposition to a constitutional amendment declaring one-man and one-woman unions to be marriage. He favors civil unions for homosexual couples with all the federal benefits now available to married couples (which is essentially, granting them marriage rights), and plans to repeal the Defense of Marriage act.
He will support federal legislation to make homosexuality a category under our civil rights code for employment and housing, so that companies will be forced to hire and retain homosexuals and cross-dressers. This is inaccurately named the Employment “Non-Discrimination” Act, or ENDA. In reality, there will be tons of discrimination under such a law, but it will be against Christian and conservative employers and employees who don’t want homosexuality and all its sleaze forced on them each workday. Maybe this is how Obama plans to achieve that goal of four million new jobs.
Obama also pledges to end any restriction in the military to open homosexuals serving, which many believe will undermine morale and effectiveness. It will also be highly discriminatory to those who are offended by being forced into same sex quarters with openly practicing homosexuals. And what about cross-dressers? Since Obama has added the “T” designating “transgendered” to the title of this section, one can only assume that Private First Class John Doe can start dressing as Jane, bunk in with the girls and no one can raise an eyebrow. Will “change” that includes “sex change” be welcomed by our troops?
As if this wasn’t enough, President Obama favors more homosexual adoptions of children, and he plans to alter HIV/AIDS funding to favor what is called “comprehensive” sex education and HIV programs, which translated means support for teaching kids that abortion, promiscuity and homosexuality are acceptable options.
