I traveled to South Bend, Indiana to observe, participate and pray amidst the mayhem surrounding the gates of Notre Dame on graduation day. The pro-life presence was simply amazing with over 3,000 pro-life activists taking a bold stand for life and Catholic consistency. There were 39 arrests - all of them peaceful pro-lifers. Included among those arrested on graduation day was Norma McCorvey, the original "Roe" in Roe v. Wade, who renounced her ties to the pro-abortion movement and became a pro-life Christian in 1995.
But my personal favorite of the day - and one that caught widespread media attention - were the four graduating students who stood up and interrupted the President of the United States as he willfully violated the faith-values of their school. They were duly escorted from the auditorium by security guards, while Obama continued his speech and told an auditorium of Catholics (and with a straight face, too!) that what we need is more "fair-minded words" in the abortion debate.
Meanwhile, outside the gates of the school grounds, pro-Obama zealots were slobbering all over themselves in fits of glee, blowing up condoms and waving, "F*ck you if you don’t support Obama" signs. While pro-lifers were willing and eager to politely discuss the biological and medical facts concerning prenatal development and other vital life issues, the pro-aborts were only interested in vulgar shouting matches and chanting redundant and outdated slogans from the 70's.
Since this appears to quite literally epitomize the average Obama lackey, it begs the question - what, exactly, is President Abortion's definition of "fair-minded"? Because when pro-lifers exhibited the real definition, they just ended up in the St. Joseph County Jail, while the pro-abort half-wits spewed profanity on bullhorns.
At one point during the graduation day, a sweet little old Catholic lady mistook my mother for someone else and asked her, "How many of us were there in the holding cell?" The woman was one of the many who were handcuffed and detained for simply praying on school property. My mother was stunned. She asked me in wide-eyed dismay, "What is this world coming to?!"

Oh yes, he did. Speak at Notre Dame, that is.
And of course, we are talking about Mr. Obama, the self-proclaimed bringer of peace and unity (if by "peace" you mean tax-funded cervical scrapings, and by "unity" you mean a Nazi-esque socialist regime with no regard for the sanctity of human life).
As I've said before, one of the luxuries that I enjoy as an opinion writer is that I get to report on events without having to censor myself or sugarcoat my articles. There's also that added bonus of being able to say the obvious and often entertaining things that every pro-life person is thinking deep down inside, but are unable to voice for fear of sounding "politically incorrect". So I was particularly impatient to observe and report on this potentially historical event in the human rights movement.

Since this appears to quite literally epitomize the average Obama lackey, it begs the question - what, exactly, is President Abortion's definition of "fair-minded"? Since Barack Hussein Obama built his presidential campaign upon a promise for change, the entire world is watching and waiting, looking for the change that Obama has promised to bring. And the world is witnessing kids, parents and priests arrested on Catholic property for the crime of upholding Catholic morals (aka, simply being Catholic) while Obama did nothing to stop it. When students chose to miss their graduation instead of seeing Obama honored at their school, the world noticed that too.
People who have long felt that they were above or beyond dipping into the abortion debate, are watching videos like the one of 80 year old Father Westin being dragged off to jail for carrying a cross onto campus, and they are all suddenly starting to asking themselves that same question, "Yeah. What IS the world coming to? I thought Obama was going to fix the world. Where is that change we were promised? Is this it?"
Oh yeah, thats right. He never did specify if the change would be positive, did he? Whoops.
Barack Obama is proving to be the Hurricane Katrina of the pro-life movement. Hurricane Katrina was one of the most devastating events in the history of the United States and the levee failures quickly prompted investigations of their design and construction. Suddenly everyone in the nation was concerned about the previously and seemingly unimportant engineering intricacies of the US Army Corp.
Now that we have the most radically pro-abortion president in US history (and one that enjoys a special kind of celebrity status that's usually reserved for children's characters like Barnie or Hannah Montana), abortion-neutral Americans are starting to take notice and starting to wonder, "Just who is this man that thinks 'waterboarding' a terrorist is torture, but giving an infant a saline burning bath is just peachy keen?"
Four recent polls are showing that the majority of Americans are avidly pro-life, and there are many indications that the number will only grow. Pew Forum and Gallup Polls, which focused on the political background of the polled participants, suggest that the reason behind the increased pro-life numbers is because people are looking at Obama's record and it is opening their eyes to the reality of abortion.
Obama's answers when questioned on abortion issues are so generic that he sounds like one of those computers that have been programmed to sound like a human being. So it was fairly easy for a nation craving "change" to buy into the vague rhetoric of the plucky Senator from Chicago with a shady past and unknown background. But now, his actions are speaking much louder than his stuttering teleprompter-assisted pre-election words.
Barack Obama has been revealing what his "change" means: taxpayer funded abortions, eliminating common-sense regulations, rescinding protections for doctors and medical providers who decline to participate in abortion... and now priests, pastors and little old ladies being thrown into jail in a new socialistic "fair-minded" society where dissent is strictly verboten.
And suddenly, when looking at Obama the Abortion Champion, people are beginning to see what "pro-choice" really means: Dismembered body parts, minced baby pulp, broken women and lost lives.
The moment anyone looks at the reality of abortion, there comes the sudden realization that there can be no middle ground on this issue. When one strips abortion to its bare bones, it's painfully obvious that a fetus either is or is not a living human from conception. This living human either continues to live or is killed. The fetus can't just be 'a little' human, or perhaps 'not human' at one point and then human at another. He or she either is or is not. There is no middle ground.
And it's really quite exciting. All of those fence sitters and ear-stoppers are finally starting to choose sides when the comfy middle ground gets swiped out from under their feet by none other than Barack Obama himself.
It seems that in a deliciously ironic twist of fate, it appears that Obama's radical abortion policies and disrespectful stunts like speaking at Notre Dame when the faith community did not want or welcome him, may actually help usher in the next big wave of the human rights movement and make America as pro-life as it is anti-slavery. Because like it or not, abortion abolition is the new civil rights movement and the majority of America is on our side.

Today is my first official day back home. I opened my inbox this morning to see pathetic pleading from Planned Parenthood asking their activists (yes, I am a spy on their mailing lists.. shhh!) to help stop the defunding of "family planning" in California.
Sure thing psychos. I'll get right on that.

May 12, 2009 – NARAL Fights For the ‘Right’ to Forced Abortions In Missouri.
Missouri House Bill 434 makes it a heavy crime to engage in domestic violence or harassment intended to force a woman into having an abortion.
This will prevent and defend pregnant women who are victims of pro-choice stalking, threats and assault. NARAL says: “Not on our watch!”

I received a letter from Chuck Konzelman, an ’82 graduate of Notre Dame University, who mailed his class ring to Rev. Jenkins in response to ND honoring pro-abort Obama.
Chuck writes, “Some will argue that the degree is ‘only symbolic’. But the world attaches value to symbols. If they didn’t, we wouldn’t employ them in the first place. And for the president, that degree will be a trophy of sorts... tangible proof that for all their pro-life bluster, Catholics can be ‘brought into the fold’ with a bit of lip service... followed by completely discounting their views in toto.”
I applaud heroes like Chuck who are fed up with Catholic institutions betraying their bishops and putting secular prestige ahead of principle. God bless you for your courageous stand!
May 7, 2009 - The George Washington University “Most Outstanding Student Organization of The Year” Award Goes To… Cross Vandalizing Democrats!
The award recognizes organizations with “exceptional performance in motivating and organizing fellow students to enhance campus life”.
This particular group “enhanced campus life” by stealing Roe vs. Wade memorial crosses from a free-speech protected pro-life display and hanging the crosses upside down, draping condoms and scrawling anti-Christian messages on the church property.
"Let's never forget the fun we had making this organization great," the Democrat group was quoted as saying upon receiving the honor.
